The Arno river is one of the postcards of Florence, with its beautiful bridges, among them the famous and incomparable Ponte Vecchio. The tourists and locals are never tired of walking along its banks, enjoying all the beauties that surround it. But did you know that it is possible to navigate the Arno and see the city from a totally different perspective?
Between the months of May and September, the so-called Renaioli put their boats to sail through the waters of the Arno and enchant everyone who comes on board with stories about the city and a breathtaking look.
The tour lasts about 45 minutes and the entrance is from the pier in piazza Mentana on Lungarno Diaz, in a place called la Porticciola, on the right bank situated between the Ponte alle Grazie and the Ponte Vecchio.
Among the places you will see from the boat: the Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, Ponte Santa Trinità – maybe you will be able to see our property and say hello to our guests in the rooftop! – and Palazzo Corsini.
