Florence from a unique perspective, in stand up paddle

Florence from a unique perspective, in stand up paddle

Published on 17 August 2021

How beautiful is Florence? Even those who think they have already seen – and admired – it from all angles, can surprise themselves with a pleasant tour on the water along the Arno river, from where they see the cradle of the Renaissance from a unique perspective!

Departing from the small beach on the Arno to the Tower of San Niccolò, across Ponte alle Grazie, to then navigate under the Uffizi, the Ponte Vecchio and the Vasari Corridor, the Ponte Santa Trinita with the view of the Antica Torre, continuing up to the Pescaia di Santa Rosa and then return at a relaxed pace to the starting point after a short stop.

A journey through the Renaissance heart of Florence, in the quiet of the river and away from the crowds on a 2-hour stand up paddle adventure. A unique opportunity to admire the wonders that the city offers along the banks of its river.

This activity, also suitable for those who have never been on a SUP board, is perfect for couples, families, and groups of friends. The Ponte Vecchio tour is available early in the morning, during the day, for sunset and at night. All the necessary equipment is included in the price.

The tour is also available as a private tour, with a guide in Italian, English, French or Spanish. The cost for the group tour is 55 euros per person with a minimum of two people, while the private tour costs 100 euros, with a 10% discount for Antica Torre customers. The Green Pass is not needed.

Tours in Florence will restart from September 1st and will be carried out by Toscana SUP. For info and reservations info@toscanasup.org / tel. +39 3334468648.
