Chocolate at Pitti Taste 2022

Chocolate at Pitti Taste 2022

Published on 18 February 2022

If you are a chocolover, this news will cheer you up. From March 26th to 28th, the Pitti Taste 2022 will receive a series of exhibitors specialized in chocolate, making Fortezza da Basso much sweeter and tastier.

The visitors will have the opportunity to taste unusual types of chocolate, as jewel pralines, bars with elaborate flavor combinations. There will also be space for the traditional Italian chocolates and options for those who have special needs or demands, as organic, gluten free and low glycemic impact.

If you want to meet the exhibitors before the event, you can do it accessing the Pitti Connect website. But we will give you some taste of what you will find right here. Take a look!

Amedei

Amedei transforms the rarest cocoa beans in the world into real chocolate works of art. The Pontedera artisan boutique controls the entire production chain. Here was born the “Tuscan cocoa cream”, winner of the “Top Italian food 2022” award.

Barbero Cioccolato

Founded in 1881, Barbero Cioccolato specializes in the production of typical Piedmontese chocolates. For over 140 years it has preserved the tradition of the famous Baci di Cherasco: the best IGP Piedmont hazelnuts combined with the finest dark chocolate.

La Molina chocolate

Solid Tuscan roots and an international vision that has always led the company to collaborate with art, design and pastry. The refined productions make use of an internal research and development department and also of a graphic department dedicated to image and packaging.

Luchino Artisan chocolate shop

Not only Modica PGI chocolate, but also soft Sicilian Pistachio and Nebrodi Hazelnut chocolates. The company is certified for organic production. Absolute novelty, the Gusto & Benessere line: four single-origin cocoa bars with low glycemic impact.

Maglio – Italian Chocolate

Passion, which is handed down from father to son, and continuous research in selecting the best materials. Venezuelan Criollo cocoa bars, chocolates and eggs. But excellence is best expressed in the covered fruit, such as the clementines that have won the “Golden Tablet” award.

Modigliantica

A small historic company in the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines with a great mission: to preserve and pass on the recipe for Modigliana Almond with Chocolate, a dessert with ancient flavors, unique in its kind, in terms of history and characteristics.

Noalya

Chocolate for tasting and for professionals, produced in the heart of Tuscany in 33 different types. Alessio Tessieri, owner of the company and himself a grower of the rarest cocoa varieties, has created a unique production chain, which is born in the best plantations in the world.

Oberhöller Chocolate

In the Oberhöller laboratory in Val Sarentino, the finest cocoa beans are combined with the aromas of South Tyrol, such as berries and red wine. An example is the “Chocolate foil”, filled with raspberry or caramel distillate. Among the great classics, cremini and bars.

Slips

The adventure of Andrea Slitti, one of the most important artisan chocolatiers in the world, starts from the experience of the family coffee roaster. Expert cocoa selector, he entrusts his palate with the creation of bars and “tiles”, refined pralines and spreads.

Ziccat

In Turin since 1958. The typical gianduiotti, Cri Cri, small glasses of chocolate, pralines, bars (classic and with aromatic combinations) and creams of every taste come out of the artisan laboratory. The packaging is still partly done by hand, as it once was.
