Our Negroni 100% Florentine

Our Negroni 100% Florentine

Published on 21 June 2022

Negroni is a Florentine classic. As we have told here, it was invented in Florence in 1919 at Caffè Casoni. But you are wrong if you think that a classic cannot change (for the better!) Here in our Panoramic Bar the Negroni has acquired a 100% Florentine flavor, because it is made with regional products, from the Opificio Fiorentino DUIT.

Their production follows a philosophy: only what they love is produced! This is the DUIT seal of quality. Being the first consumers of the products, they want them to be perfect. As they say on the website, “We are not interested in creating another copy of mainstream products, nor chasing the fashions of the moment. We want to propose something unique, certain that there is still a desire to go beyond the known “. The products are processed without the use of artificial dyes, preservatives, and thickeners.

Do you want to know the bottles that make up our Negroni?

GIN – LONDON DRY

A dry and aggressive Adamantino gin. Very few botanicals, juniper, coriander, Angelica root, half a lemon peel every 50 liters. Dry to the nose and clean in the mouth.

VERMUTTE DEL CHIANTI

An authentic Tuscan Vermouth, produced with a Chianti DOCG base: combative and obstinate in its range of spices and at the same time perfectly balanced. Although the name is French, this is the most Tuscan Vermouth that exists, so much so that it is produced with Tuscan Chianti wine. The amount of absinthe is double compared to commercial Vermouths and the slightly acidic mix of spices we infused gives a Maledetto Toscano character to Vermouth.

BITTER FIRENZE

Bitter that starts from Milan and arrives in Florence as we like it: slightly bitter, produced by natural infusion without dyes. A different Bitter, with a different color for the infusions of spices in alcohol without the addition of dyes. A light bitter, aromatic and pleasantly “amaro”.
