Florence is hosting one of the most original and visionary artists of our time: Olafur Eliasson. From September 22 2022, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi will be having the largest exhibition in Italy to date exploring the art of Eliasson. Called “Nel tuo tempo”, the exhibition will place the visitor at the heart of his multifaced reflection on the notion of shared experience and interaction with reality.

The exhibition is a creation of the artist’s direct interaction with the spaces of Palazzo Strozzi. Eliasson has worked on all of the Palazzo’s Renaissance spaces, from the courtyard to the Piano Nobile and the Strozzina undercroft in a path that features new installations and historic works that combine elements as colour, water, and light to create an interaction with our senses and the Renaissance architecture. The historical and symbolic architecture of the Palazzo is reimagined with installations built around the visitor who becomes an integral part of the artwork.

On the occasion of the exhibition Olafur Eliasson: Nel tuo tempo, Palazzo Strozzi offers two special free tours every week accompanied by specially trained operators.

The visits, with guaranteed departure, take place every Wednesday at 6.00 pm and every Sunday at 3.00 pm.

The guided tour is free with the pre-sale purchase of the entrance ticket to the exhibition and includes the radio headset system. Reservation required. Limited seats.
