Antica Torre Tornabuoni is a historical residence, but that doesn’t mean that our premises are old-fashioned. On the contrary, from time to time we renovate our rooms and common areas, always preserving the architecture and history of our palace. That’s what’s happened with our apartment, which has just been completely renovated and looks amazing!

Curated by PLACES, the work was born from the idea of ennobling the existing spaces by recovering their flavor, elegance and centuries-old history and making them harmonious with all the other rooms already decorated.

“In the darker rooms and with fewer views we dared to cover the walls with bold designs (large flowers and foliage) while the corridors were kept light and airy, with veils and light stripes”, says Corinna Ceruti, founder of PLACES.

In the large living room, the mirrors with painted pillars give the space a feeling of greater height while for the main bedroom the inspiration came from an ancient wedding canvas from the early 18th century with flowers and plants.

The base simulates the warp and weft and the sensation of sumptuousness is also obtained from the golden color of the background, which continues into the sitting room.

“As with the entire Tower, the leitmotif is the frescoed walls that cover all the ancient Tuscan buildings, and which are unique and without repetitions. Every room must be a surprise!”, says Corina.

The completely renovated 200 square meters apartment is located on the third floor of Palazzo Gianfigliazzi, and can be arranged in different configurations depending on its use: from a minimum of one bedroom with bathroom, a large living room from which to enjoy the view and a kitchen equipped with all comforts, up to a maximum of three bedrooms – one of which has a studio – and another living room.
