1- Sales at The Mall<\/strong><\/p>\n

There won\u2019t be a better time to buy winter clothes, shoes and accessories than the Winter Sale at The Mall. The most important brands and high fashion stores will be offering discounts up to 70% in selected products, among men\u2019s, women\u2019s and children\u2019s clothing, footwear, accessories, jewelry, beauty care, make up, fragrances, lifestyle and gift items. It is your chance to get the best products for the smaller prices. All the guests at Antica Torre Tornabuoni will received a priority pass which include a VIP service and a 10% discount with a minimum value.<\/p>\n

2- Bansky. This is not a photo opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n

February is your last opportunity of visiting the exhibition ‘Banksy. This is not a photo opportunity\u2019 in Florence, since it will be over on the 24th<\/sup>. Curated by Gianluca Marziani and Stefano S. Antonelli, the exhibition at Palazzo Medici Riccardi is the result of a selection of the best 20 images produced so far by the artist, those that have made the planetary success of one of the most complex and intuitive artists of our time.<\/p>\n

3- Calcio Storico \u2013 partita dell\u2019assedio <\/strong><\/p>\n

It is not June, but you can still watch the Calcio Storico in Florence! For the sixth consecutive year, in Piazza Santa Croce, on the 17th<\/sup>, the re-enactment of the Partita dell\u2019Assedio will take place. The original game was played on the very same day of 1529, when the Florentine Republic suffered the siege of the Imperial troops of Carlo V. Don\u2019t miss this opportunity, otherwise, you can only see this historical game on June 24th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

4- Villa Bardini fireworks<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the past, if someone wanted to watch the magnificent fireworks of the city\u2019s Patron Saint celebration it would have to wait until June 24, the day of Saint John. But now Things have changed! On the 24th of every month, Villa Bardini offers a preview of this great celebration so fireworks will be displayed for one minute. The initiative includes a museum visit and a conference, followed by a buffet for which advance booking is required. Obviously, all the guests at Antica Torre Tornabuoni will enjoy one-minute of fireworks from their table at The Tower Restaurant.<\/p>\n

5- Leonardian itinerary on the traces of the Battle of Anghiari at the Palazzo Vecchio<\/strong><\/p>\n

From February 23, Palazzo Vecchio offers its visitors an itinerary dedicated to retracing the history of the failure to complete the Battle of Anghiari that Leonardo da Vinci would have had to paint on a wall of the hall that today is called the Salone dei Cinquecento.<\/p>\n

It starts with a video telling with images the story of the famous painting, followed by the visit of a 16th century painting considered by scholars to be one of the closest replicas to the original of the central battle scene, and ending in the Mezzanine of Palazzo Vecchio, where two of the famous terracotta works of Rustici, friend of Leonardo, are preserved, depicting Combat Scenes inspired by the Battle of Anghiari.<\/p>\n
