On May 24, 2026, the XVI Giornata Nazionale ADSI will take place, an event that opens the doors of some of Italy’s most beautiful and important historic residences to the public.
Promoted by the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane (ADSI), the initiative was created with the goal of enhancing, preserving, and promoting Italy’s private cultural heritage. A treasure composed of castles, palaces, villas, gardens, and historic residences that form part of the country’s identity.
Founded in 1977, ADSI brings together owners of historic properties from across Italy and actively works to preserve this heritage through cultural, educational, and awareness initiatives focused on the historical, artistic, and architectural importance of these properties.
Antica Torre Tornabuoni opens its doors
During the Giornata Nazionale, dozens of historic residences exceptionally open their spaces to the public with guided visits, performances, concerts, and special cultural experiences. In Florence, the event involves some of the city’s most emblematic locations, offering visitors the opportunity to discover unique perspectives on Florentine history.
Antica Torre Tornabuoni is once again taking part in the initiative, renewing a tradition that over the years has allowed the residence to open its doors to both Florentines and visitors alike, in a gesture of sharing and celebrating the city’s historic heritage.
More than simply participating in a cultural event, the Giornata Nazionale ADSI represents for Antica Torre Tornabuoni a way of “giving back” this space to the city of Florence, offering its residents the opportunity to rediscover a unique viewpoint over the city in a place rich with history, art, and memory.
Good music with Florence’s most stunning view
For this year’s edition, Antica Torre Tornabuoni will welcome visitors onto its panoramic terrace for a special musical moment set against one of the most captivating views in Florence.
The performance will be presented by the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and will take place at 4:00 PM, featuring two guitars and vocals, creating an atmosphere that blends music, culture, and the incomparable charm of the Florentine skyline.
The XVI Giornata Nazionale ADSI represents not only an opportunity to visit extraordinary historic locations, but also a moment to reflect on the importance of preserving Italy’s cultural heritage and celebrating the stories these spaces continue to tell across the centuries.
The full event program, along with the complete list of participating venues and visit details, is available on the official ADSI website.
