With its elegant fifteenth-century appearance, this historic palace tells a story layered in stone. Born from the fusion of two fourteenth-century houses, it evolved over time with the addition of a fourth floor and a refined loggia in the sixteenth century—elements that still define its harmonious façade today.
The ground floor opens with grand portals, while the upper levels reveal single-lancet windows framed in pietraforte, a signature of Florentine architecture.
But beyond its architectural beauty, the palace is a silent witness to centuries of power, ambition, and transformation. From the Ghibelline Soldanieri family to the influential Strozzi, from the refined Altoviti to the Medici-Tornaquinci, its walls have hosted generations who shaped the history of Florence.
